One night as I watched all the fields burning
A sudden mist of chaos came in
Spirits of an ancient time calling back to me
Singing songs, long forgotten into the sea
Loud voices looming from the long hall
Words and melodies I couldn’t hear it all
A pale, soothing, light I ain’t never felt before
And barefoot prints on the ceiling floor
Strange shadows wandering through the room
Familiar faces fading out of the gloom
Fuzzy sonic booms pumping out of my chest
Warm ropes tightly wrapping around my neck
